What we are learning this term

Literacy

In Literacy children will be consolidating their understanding of punctuation and sentence structure through different forms of writing over the term.

The forms of writing we will be looking at are:

Poetry

Story writing

Newspaper reports

Explanations

Numeracy

In Numeracy children will be securing their knowledge of place value of numbers up to 1 million. They will be developing their understanding of number sequences and rounding as well as carrying out calculations with larger numbers.
