What is a Shadow?

To make a shadow, two things are

needed.The first is light.The

second is something that blocks

light.We see shadows when we

block light from the sun.

How can a size of a

shadow change?

As light moves towards the object, the shadow becomes larger.

As light moves away from the object, the shadow becomes smaller.

What would happen to

your shadow if you

stood in the same

place all day?

Your shadow would slowly

go in a circle, but get fainter

when it gets darker.
