NATO

Did you know that 28 countries are members of the NATO. There are

a few of the countries like China and Afghanistan who have not joined NATO.

NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

Barack Obama and loads of other world leaders have joined together in Wales to have a NATO summit meeting.

If one of the countries in the NATO gets bombed the other countries will help that country, always remember if your country is in the NATO and under attack they just

say " if you pick on me you pick on my friends as well."

Did you know that nearly 10,00 police officers were on duty when NATO summit took place In Wales.

NATO meetings usually take place every 3 years.

Every time the NATO meeting takes place in a different country this time they came to Wales for the NATO summit and did you know Barack Obama and David Cameron visited one school in Newport !

I would love to have been in that school when Barack Obama and David Cameron

visited.

The NATO has only had one attack after the September 11 terrorist strikes on the USA in 2001.
