Q. How are you enjoying St. George's school?

A. I am enjoying St .George's school ,I think the children are great. It's hard because you have to learn new things that children have known for years and you have to learn new names as well.

Q .What school did you used to go to?

A. I went to a school in Harrow, called Priestmead.

Q .What is your favourite subject to teach and why do you like it?

A. My favourite subject is maths because I like maths and numbers. I also like it when children find out that fractions are related to decimals and percentages .I think they find it exciting and I did when I was young too.

Q .Do you feel welcome as a new teacher here, if so why?

A. I do feel welcome as a new teacher. I think because myself and Mrs Hynes were both new, and also lots of the other teachers.

Q. What is your favourite T.V program and why do you like it?

A. My favourite T.V program is The Mentalist at the moment , because its about somebody who uses a clever brain to work things out, it's kind of a detective story.

Q. Do you like eating out ,if so what is your favourite meal?

A. I love eating out because I don't have to cook and I don't have to wash up I just have to eat and talk and my very favourite meal is salad and chips, but that's not what I eat when I go out because I was a vegetarian for many, many years but I'm not a vegetarian now .

Q. What do you like to do in your spare time?

A. In my spare time I like to do crochet, which is a type of knitting ,I sing and I lead a guitar group, I eat out and play with my cat.

Q. Have you always been a teacher if not, what other jobs have you had?

A. I used to work in the airline industry. I was an air hostess and a ground hostess and I worked in the hospital as a radiotherapy radiographer. I worked as a nanny in America and I used to teach adults how to speak English.

Q. What is your favourite movie and why do you like it?

A. My favourite movie is probably White Christmas and the Wizard of Oz because they remind me of family and snuggling up and Christmas and all nice thing , eating plenty and being safe and happy with your family.
