Running through the streets of London, the family were trying to escape. Their enemy was gaining on them. They turned corners, they jumped walls and although they ran quickly, they were still not making enough progress. The train was leaving at 9.45. They were still 15 minutes away but the train was leaving in 13 minutes. They knew they weren't going to catch it, but although they were bruised and exhaused they had to try. Others were trying to catch the train too, to escape the war. The family had no idea how the war had started. No-one did.
