Our boys have continued there unbeaten start in the Islington Primary Schools Football League, with a draw and a win. In a rematch of the Islington Boys Final we took on St Johns Highbury Vale Primary who previosly defeated us 2-1. The first half was pretty even with Han coming the closest when he hit the crossbar. In the second half we upped our game and totally dominated, but couldn’t find the net. Cameron was very unlucky to see his shot hit the inside of post and roll across the line, and Han, Stephane and Amr all went close, but the game ended 0-0.

Next up were Duncombe Primary and things were all lot more straightforward as we won 7-0. The star of the show was Jonnie from year 5 who making his debut scored a hat trick, and strikes from Stephane, Caleb and Cameron sealed the points.

Squad:- Sid, Kayvon, Amir, Archie, Stephane (captain), Caleb, Han, Mohammed, Jonnie and Cameron.

The girls have also been in action and went down 2-0 to a good SJHV side, whilst their game against Duncombe was a real thriller. Duncombe took the lead in the second half, but Henrietta soon equalised. However our excitement was short lived as Duncombe went ahead again. With time running out and a couple minutes left the girls continued to push forward and were rewarded when Natalia equalised to end the game 2-2.

Squad:- Mae, Francesca, Ella, Millie, Natalia (captain), Jodie, Sophia, Layla and Henrietta.
