Road's End

Though showing now emotion, I was relieved to be safe. My face was a blank sheet with a crimson cloth strewn across it and steamed goggles, clumsily strapped on. The engine of the

old car roared as I switched on the ignition. I sped forwards, the wind hitting my face with

an extraordinary force.

No more expirements, with liquids being tested on me, no more captivity.

I had escaped.

But then it happened. The fawn coloured vehicle carelessely sped of the off the cliff.

I thought that I had had my time, until I blinked.
