Last week was Fitness Week, which meant we would do lots of different activities such as tennis, Just4Kicks, an inflatable assault course and Sports Day. It was an amazing, fun-filled week!

The week began on Tuesday with Just4kicks at Beverley Park. There were instructors to run us through what we were meant to be doing. The activities we did were spike ball and cone-ball. In spike ball there is a group of players standing around a trampoline. You have to try and bounce a ball on the trampoline to another player and they have got to try and catch it. In cone-ball there were several cones with small balls balanced on top. You had to try and hit the balls off and the team of fielders would go and catch the balls and put them back on the cones. We also played dodgeball. In Dodgeball the aim of the game is to try and get the bibs without getting hit by the ball. My favourite one was the dodgeball because you run around trying to hit people but unfortunately I got a ball to the head.

On Wednesday, in the morning we went to the Malden Tennis Club, and I got a ball to the tummy!

On Thursday, we did the assault course. There were big inflatables with a big slide and a dungeon on the school field. We got to slide down and get trapped in the dungeon. When we went on the slide it made me and some of my friends feel like we were 4 again. Unfortunately, I was waiting to get trapped in the dungeon and then the inflatable dungeon deflated and it took them a while to inflate it again. One of my friends was in there and managed to get out but then another friend was still inside it and we didn't know where he was. Then he suddenly came out of there and he said I was in there all along.

Friday was Sports Day and we did lots of different activities like Over-Under and a 50 metre sprint all the way to the end in our lanes. Then next we did discus which is when you have a disc which is black and really heavy. [Here comes the gruesome part.] D accidentally threw a discus and it hit K in the head and hurt him. After that, we moved on to the next event which was an egg and spoon race but apart from there being a golf ball as the egg. In the egg and spoon race you have to try not to drop the egg on the floor, but if you drop it you have to pick it up again and keep going. Then you have to give the egg and spoon to the next person.
