Transition to Year

When you go into Year 6, you will have many opportunities for a good reputation. Although it might be the biggest year but it is the most fun and very enjoyable. This blog is about the 4 things you need to become the perfect year 6 child!

Being a role model

To be a Year 6 student, you have to be a good role model.The younger children will look up to you and see you as the oldest (which you are). Whatever you do, the younger children will copy so if you do something silly then they will. Make sure you are ready to be the person everyone looks up to.

Rewards

When you are in Year 6, working hard can lead to great things. If you work really hard you could get House Captain or Head girl/boy! This doesn't happen in every year. Its only Year 6 so take that incredible chance when you reach that time.

Trips

In Year 6 you will go to the Isle of Wight for a school residential trip and be there for 5 days! Cool right?! It will be so fun so enjoy it!

Work

In Year 6 you will have to work really hard because after you will be going to high school. This work will include SATS. At the end of the year you will get you leavers hoodies and a year book of all the amazing memories of primary school.
