L.O. To write an ode using simile, metaphor and hyperbole

Oh strawberry,

You're as bewitching as a ruby dazzling in a glossy treasure chest.

When I take a bite out of your tender, juicy fruit I feel like heaven is knocking on my door with glorious angels singing sweet songs of joy.

You're a king's riches sitting in an exquisite, blood-red jewlerry box with emeralds surrounding it.

Without you I am a dark, empty shell of a human being, light no longer shines upon me.

You're as red and fiery as a camp-fire warming a marshmellow.

You are my knight in shining armour coming to slay my beastly dragon.

Your callow tufts are as green as emerald earrings.

My love for you is ever-lasting.

It has no beginning, nor an end.

It transcends even time and space.

Oh strawberry, you are a powerful queen cherishing her lovely subjects.

Oh strawberry.
