My best thing about this book is that it is interesting and you get some knowledge of how it was like in the 1830s from this particular book.

This is what it says, about what they think: "They are not to blame, Edith,and they deserve our compassion. They are not in the work house for punishment, rather they are offered sanctuary because they have nowhere to go."

I think you should read this because you will find it interesting and sad on how hard it was for a working woman in the 1830s.

I think these are ideal books as they show us what history was about.

It is quite sad to read, as you can't believe things like happened.
