Tutankhamun
Tutankhamun is one of the most famous Pharaoh's and lived over 1000 years before Jesus was born. He was famous because his tomb contained fabulous treasures never seen before.
Growing up
Tutankhamun was born prince in Egypt's royal court around the year 1341 BC. He was the only son of Akhenaten. His birth name was Tutanaten which he changed after his father died.
Akhenaten died when Tutankhamun was only 7. He might have followed Sun God Aten
A Radical father
if his father did not die when Tutankhamun was 7.
Akehnaten was a reliogus radical. He changed the whole reliogon of Ancient Egypt
to only the sun God Aten and also changed the capital city to a new city called
Amarna. When Tutakhamun first became Pharoah he was unpopaler because his
mother Kiya was one of his fathers lesser wife's and not his favourite wife the
powerful Nefertiti.

When Tutankhamun
was 7 his father died. A few years later, when he was nine he
became king and married his half sister. Because Tutankhamun was so young he needed help ruling the country. His advisor's are Ay and a general called Horeheb.
Ruling Egypt
The advisors ruled the country. Tutankhamun advisor's changed back all of his father's changes. He changed the capital city back to Memphis and he made them worship the gods they worshiped.
Death and burial
Tutankhamun died around the age of nineteen. His death is a mystery but some people think that he was murdered but, the main cause of his death was probaly his broken leg which got infected then died.
Tomb
In the late 1800's and the early 1900's Archeologist's started exploring the tombs of valley of the Kings. Howard Carter was one of the Archeoligist's exploring there. In 1922 Howard Carter unleased the tomb and he was allowed to look inside. His team told him if he can see anything inside and he said yes wonderfull things. Over 1,000 things were found in Tutankhamun's tomb and they were sent to the Cyrone museum.
Conclusion
Tutankhamun will be remembered for thousand's of people because his fabolus treasures.
