Chapter 6

On their boat, Madame Radish and Jimmy set on their journey. In her bag, Madame Radish packed a gargantuan old blanket to cover themselves, in case anyone happened to peer over and see two magical, mysterious creatures on a boat. Luckily, no-one came on, so they were safe, but still had to duck under the covers, just in case. Australia was quite far from their home, so it would take at least ten days to get there. At least, they came prepared, Madame Radish and Jimmy were ready for this journey, no one could get in their way.

Madame Radish had changed, she decided to be a new, nicer person! This

had made her even more determined to arrive in Australia, and save Hermie

and her friends. Half the journey had already passed, all Madame Radish was

thinking about was getting back home. She wasn't even keeping track of time,

Jimmy was fast asleep. He slept like a log, and this was for five days! It would

take at least ten days to get there, from where they lived, to where Hermie

and her friends were.

Madame Radish had woken Jimmy up, and tried to ask him how they could make time go faster. First, he suggested they write out a plan of how they would find Hermie and her friends; then sleep so they could restore their energy.

On their plan, they chose to draw an estimated ploy of their game plan. Madame Radish remembered that all the boats stop at one place, Jimmy (following on from that) thought they could direct the boat towards it. They did, and finished their plan; went to sleep, then woke up to the beautiful scenery of Australia.
