Chickens

Chickens are a type of

animal or food and they are

very cute when they are

babies. Mc Donalds or KFC

has delicious chickens

which makes your mouth

water.

Chickens are birds so they

lay eggs but don't take

away chicken's eggs or

the mother chicken could get

angry!

When the chicks hatch

from their egg they

won't have any fur.

It takes a long time for

them to get fur but they

will get them eventually.

Once they get their fur

it will seem to be yellow

and have really puffy fur.

Soon they will turn into

adults and have brown fur

and they could get a crest!

(The crest is the red floppy

bit on the chin of a chicken or

a turkey.)
