Maths

This week in Maths we have been doing revising on decimal addition and subtraction and converting litres to millilitres. We have also done some rounding with decimals that have lots of different place values. In some questions it even involed money.

English

This week in English, we have been planning our story about Origin the robot which we watched on The Literacy Shed. We have made our own paragraph when we meet another character and now we are starting to write it up.

P.E.

In PE this week, we have been practising for our cricket festival which is coming up on next Tuesday. Our coach Sam was not here this week so we practised our throwing and played a game called 'fireball.' We went in groups of 6 and the person who stood in the middle had to call one of our names and then chuck the ball to us as fast as they could without dropping it.

Science

In Science this week we have been learning about the 6 stages in the human life cycle. We watched a video of a girl called Lotte and each day or week of her life (up to 18) she'd make a short video and then it was all put together.

History

In history this week we learnt about hieroglyphics and we wrote our name with them. We also made our own code for someoddy else to crack. It was quite hard but very fun!!!
