The sun is described as being a big ball of gas including helium, carbon dioxide etc. Our galaxy the Milky Way is only one out of billions and billions of other galaxies that humans have yet to discover in the future generations after new technology is made. There are 7 planets in total in our solar system all of them circle around the sun. Those 7 planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn ,Uranus and Neptune. Some planets even have their own moons like our planet Earth. Did you know that the Earth is the only liveable planet in the solar system. It is made up of 99.9% water. Mercury is the smallest planet in the solar system and the largest planet is Jupiter. Jupiter and Saturn are both gas giants as well as the sun. It is speculated that there are about 1 billion stars in space but it is not known for sure as humans are yet to discover all of space. When all of these items are put together they create the universe. Humans have only started to explore a very little percentage of the universe but as generations pass we will slightly learn more and more each time.
