ECO FLAG!!!

In our school, Ysgol Cae'r Felin, we think that we deserve an Eco flag because, we do lots of Eco initiatives in our class and around the school.

As a school we recycle. We try to recycle lots of things such as cardboard, paper, cans, tins and in our black bin we put everything else. We have a competiton to see which class turns the lights and taps off and computers off when not used in class. We keep our school yards and ground litter free, the teachers also share cars so they don't waste money on oil or petrol in their cars and do their bit for the environment.

Twice a year we walk to school. We call it the 'Walking Bus'. We walk from Maescader all the way down to the school. This keeps us all fit and healthy.

We as a school deserve an Eco flag because we do lots more Eco things. If we have another Eco flag we will be as happy as a dolphin jumping over the waves. We think that our school is green just like our school jumpers!!

We have a buddy system that helps little children make friends and to play with. As a school we are as green as the litter we pick.

We are a friendly and caring school and that is why we are writing to you so that we can tell you why we deserveour third Eco flag .
