I'm back! Where have you been, you might be asking. Well, this blog is going to bexplain why I've been away!

Myself and fourteen others have been going to fabulous science workshops at John Lyon! We participated in fun, engaging tasks every Friday and entered an entirely new world of science, learning a litany of new facts in the process. During our first lesson, we were introduced to the sixth formers who were supervising us for our lessons and the teachers (Mr Mahn and Mr Herman). My sixth former was Sash (his nickname) and I was in a group with two of my other friends. The other sixth formers were Eugene, Omar, Akshay, Haaris and a few others.

Our first task was to build a tower entirely made out of paper. The team that had the tallest tower by the end of the lesson would win! Learning about all these new concepts was really fun, and it was great to be able to apply all of these new facts to our lives. It made me see the world a little differently, and I'm so grateful to John Lyon for doing this for me. The rest of the lessons were just as informative and fun. Another one of my favourite lessons was the one based on electricity and we made our very own lightning in our room!

I'm looking forward to going back there again (if we can) but I'm glad to be back here, posting blogs on the website! I can't wait to post another blog, so see you next week! And remember, Potterhead Pro is back!
