Get an adult to help you with your personal calendar.
· What day it is? Is it a school day or a weekend? What day was yesterday?
· What date is it? Yesterday was the 22nd so today with be…?
· What month is it?
Look outside, is it sunny or raining or cloudy? What season is it?

Physical Education/ Movement
It is always good to start the day with movement.
This week you can choose between Andy’s Wild Workout’s or Otis’s Boogie Beebies. Or you can do both! Both workouts have an animal theme. Andy will take you to the African Savannah, whilst Oti will take you to the jungle.

Phonics
This week we will be focussing on two sounds – w and x.

Literacy
Last week we finished The Oak Academy’s Literacy unit – “The Noisy House”. I hope you enjoyed it!
We are starting a brand new unit this week. Adam and Panda will still be your teachers and this unit is “Bat Learns to Dance.”

Understanding the World
Help your child recognise common garden fruit and vegetables. Make a soup or salad using fruit and vegetables of your choice. Get your child to help you cut the vegetables and fruit. Discuss which are hard and which are soft to cut. Encourage your child to use all their senses to explore the vegetables and fruit.
