Here is your learning for the day:
Literacy:
Following on from the National Geographic report yesterday, I would like you to do the following:
Write a letter to the government persuading them to protect our forests. Aim to write two paragraphs.
Questions to consider:
What do you want the government to do?
Why do you want the government to do this?
What do you hope will be the result of protecting our
forests?
The letter only needs to be half a page.... Plan/ draft your letter today and write the final version tomorrow making sure you have checked and changed your draft for any grammatical errors.
Try to keep it formal as possible and remember you can use the internet to help you.
