Challenge

05.04.2019

Next week, we are planning on a really ‘Egg-citing’ end to term.

We will kick off the week with an Easter Egg Hunt followed

by lots of Easter crafts and activities.

We will recap the Easter Story and how this links to the giving

of Easter Eggs during this time.

The greatest challenge this weekend will be for you to plan

and make your Easter cake or biscuits for our:

‘GREAT FOUNDATION EASTER BAKE OFF!’

You may bake one large cake or a selection of small

cakes or biscuits, but they must have an Easter theme.

We will be talking to the children about what sort

of equipment we might be able to buy with the money raised.

Please bring your cakes in on the morning of Tuesday 9th April.

The cakes will be judged by our School Catering Manager

and three prizes will be awarded each in Foundation 1 and 2

for the most original and creative cakes! Cakes will go on sale

Tuesday and Wednesday at the end of the morning

for Nursery parents outside the unit and at the end

of the school day for the rest of the school

on the Junior playground.

For those children going to Wrap Around or Chimps,

please send their money in a named

envelope and we will have the opportunity to

buy cakes and biscuits too.

Please ensure all cakes are placed on

disposable plates/cake boards

as it will be very difficult to return plates, tins etc.

Please ensure your bakes are nut free.

Hopefully we’ll raise lots of funds,

so get baking!
