Biography : Mother Teresa .

Childhood .

Mother Teresa was born in 1910 and lived in Serbia .Her real name was Agnes Bojaxhiu . Agnes always helped her parents at home and she always wanted to help other people ,too .

Work .

Agnes went to live in Calcutta, India . Calcutta was full of poor people . She built her own hospital for the poor and worked in hospitals and schools . Teresa was like a mother to the people .

Achievements .

Mother Teresa spent all her life helping poor people and in 1979 she received a special prize for her good work . The prize was the Noble prize . Mother Teresa gave all her money to poor people she was very famous . Agnes died in 1997 .
