Earth

Earth is the planet we live on. It is 70% water and 30% land. The Earth orbits the Sun and the Moon orbits the Earth. It takes 365 and 1/4 days for the Earth to orbit the Sun.A day on Earth is only 24 hours.

Scientists think that the Earth is about 4.65 billion years old.

Nine major planets

The nine major planets we have are Mecury ,Venus , Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto (Pluto is a dwarf planet.). All of these planets orbit the Sun (As you may already know.).
