Go Run For Fun

This annual event took place on Wednesday 20th June at Soar Valley College. Over 300 Sandfield children from Years 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 made their way down accompanied by their class teachers and many parents. All wearing their pink GRFF T-shirts, the children took part in a mass warm up along with children from several local schools and then began their run around Soar Valley College. It was a great event followed by a picnic lunch before the long walk back to school!

Soar Valley Rounders Festival

Another successful tournament for Sandfield, this time at rounders, where we retained the trophy for the 8th year running!

There was some exceptional play from many members of the team but the outstanding catch of the afternoon was by Kheya Parmar who was awarded a rounders ball by the officiating leaders from Soar Valley.
