The sea mystery
I had spent two weeks on my cruise boat and nothing major happened. I sat down and looked out to the sea; being extra careful I don’t fall of. I was board. All the swimming, roller-skating and after parties were done. Mum said today was rest day and that I should lay back and relax like she is but what was I going to do I wanted to do something. I went back to my cooling spot and sat down. Then a voice said “Go around the corner”. I turned around but no one was there. I sneaked around the corner being extra careful mum didn’t see me. I saw this little head bobbing up and down and I started to head towards the edge and AHHHHH it’s a mmmmermaid. I back up with my back clinging to the wall. “Hello my name is Calamity James”. When she spoke I jumped out of my skin, well not literally but you get what I mean. She asked me to help her all I could think about was (help her with what, am i dreaming, what’s going on). I slapped my face to come back to the real world hoping she wasn’t there but when I opened my eyes there she was that little innocent face staring at me. she seemed desperate so I was going to help her. I saw a man sneak around the corner to talk with a big fat man who was the security guard. I listened to their conversation which was in Spanish ( never knew that would come in handy). I had to watch my back as I think he saw me that time. You know how I said I was going to watch my well today I forgot.
