A LONG WALK IN THE COUNTRYSIDE.

Last March, Mrs Debattista took my class for a walk in the countryside. All the school came for this walk. We gave a little donation and all the money were for Dar Nazareth. Some of our parents came too. We brought sandwiches and some drinks.

The weather was wonderful. Everyone was excited. At about 9 o'clock we left our school. We walked through the streets of Żejtun. When we arrived near the playground we had our first break. We had our sandwiches and drank some water.

A few minutes later we continued our walk. We passed through the countryside in Marsaxlokk. It was picturesque and I was amazed as I had never been there before. Our walk finished at Saint Thomas Bay. There we found Malta's ex-President, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca, waiting for us. It was nice meeting her.

On our way back, on the bus, we were all tired but we were happy with the walk we had done.
