Firstly, in the micro-society we showed our currency design to the people on our table and decided which one was the best. My currency design got the most votes. It had a star on the front next to were the president would write his signature. A lot of people on my table had very good designs, like the Phoenix designed by Matilda to match our flag.

Afterwards, Miss Bond told us to come and sit down on the carpet. She read us the story about the planet called 'Not Enough', where people started trading and stealing food, because there wasn't enough for everyone. We discussed what we would have done instead. Some said they would introduce rules to stop people from stealing. Others said that larger families should be given bigger gardens to grow food.

Each table chose a person to present their currency design, to the rest of the class. The winner was Kajeva with an amazing design inspired by Lili's flag. But others had amazing designs too, like Kio who came up with a space theme and Gweneth who had a very colourful design.

At the end of the lesson, we held a second vote to decide who was going to be the leader, banker and the police in our micro-society. We decided Ethan would become the leader, Gweneth the banker and both Haeun and myself members of the police. Miss Bond said it was a close vote and maybe other people in the class would get a chance to be picked next time.

To finish we answered a number of questions on a sheet of paper. The higher the score you got the more likely it was you were better suited to work in a team. Surprisingly only two people got a high score. I got 4 points, which said I would be better suited working on my own.
