This week the children have loved learning about the story 'The Very Quiet Cricket' by Eric Carle. We learned some interesting facts about crickets and we then explored loud and quiet sounds with musical instruments and our voices. The children also explored colour mixing, making the colour green to paint their cricket pictures. This week we have been busy practising some of our races for Sports Day, which will be next Wednesday morning. We hope that you can be there to cheer on the children.
