Charles Darwin

Charles Darwin known as one of the greatest biologists to ever live. Charles was best known for his contributions to the science evolution. his theory was that all species of life have descend over time from common ancestors.

In February 1809, Charles was born in Shrewsbury he was born into a rich and wealthy family. When Charles was young,he had a passion for nature and he loved to collect things like plants, insects, and beetles. When he was young Charles mother sadly passed away, Charles was only eight years old

Education

Following his mother's death, he was sent to boarding school he was thought not to be clever. Charles did not like all his classes all he loved at that time was nature,hunting,exploring. when Charles was sixteen, he went to Edinburgh university,to study medicine( his father wanted him to become a physician). Charles Darwin absolutely hated being a medical student because he had to dissect hearts and things like that. Then, his father put him in Cambridge University and then wished to pursue his science career. his greatest interest was collecting bee and insects.
