Week Beginning 8th February Home Learning
Science
This home learning is designed to be completed over the course of the
week. Take a look below and each day try to complete:
- A Maths task
- An English task
- Either Science, Topic, P.E or R.E
Ask your parents to take photographs of your work and email them to us once during the week.
Monday: Watch the clip above and Powerpoint (emailed) on how to write a set of instructions.
Monday: Write some instructions for something you make in the kitchen, with lego, with craft,
or how to play a game.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Continue with your descriptive writing from Tuesday's lesson. Re-draft after you have read back through and take some time to make sure you have used lots of adjectives to create a picture in the reader's mind.
Thursday: Complete a reading comprehension on Read Theory and/or complete the twinkl Gingerbread Man reading comprehension. Click on the twinkl Go link. The child login pin code has been emailed out.
Friday: Complete the spelling word search and handwriting sheet ready for our test at 11:30.
Monday: Complete 'Lacy Lengths' worksheet (choose a star).
Tuesday: Complete Rising Stars workbook on page 4 and 5 of this blog.
Wednesday: Complete Bathroom Concoctions, Volume Vessels and Diving into Mastery sheets.
Thursday: Complete Classroom Secrets Fluency, Reasoning and Problem Solving
worksheet Comparing Mass and Capacity.
Friday: Complete a column off the White Rose worksheet on page 6 of this blog.
Extra: Measure objects from around the house and record.
