Year 5 Weekly spellings (Home Learning WC 27th April 2020)

Find out the meanings of the words if you are unsure.

Learn the words in interesting ways. You could:

• Chalk the words
• Make the words out of things from your garden (if you are able to)
• Write them in foam
• Do pyramid writing
• Complete rainbow writing
• Feel the words in flour/rice/lentils (check first with parents/carers)
• Use a spelling app
• Do star jumps to each letter outside when learning the letters

Don't forget that you have your high frequency words to also go over - these are really important and were in your original home learning packs
