A dog injury

It was early one morning when it happened. Amy was walking the dog along a street in the neighbourhood. In this street, a few cars passed during the day. On average about 20 cars in all passed through in a day.

Amy always took her dog for a walk in the morning. One day around 7 o'clock in the morning, Amy was walking and a car hit the dog. Amy started crying when she realised that the dog could not walk. Amy decided to call her mum to let her know what had just happened to the dog. Amy's mum left the house and she went near Amy. They called the police to come and investigate what had happened.

The police arrived at the scene of the accident and they called Animal Welfare to come and help the dog.The police also took the driver to the police station to analyse what had happened. When the police asked the driver what had happened, he answered that he had not seen the dog because there was no street light.

When the dog arrived at the vet's clinic the vet said that he had a broken leg and he needed an operation. The operation was carried out and the dog needed two weeks to fully recover from the injury. Amy was so sad to see her dog in that state.

After two weeks, they took the dog to the vet's clinic again. The vet told Amy that everything went well. Amy was delighted to hear this news.
