Pandas
Have you ever seen a panda?
They are the national animal of China.
Pandas are very big animals who are relatives to bears and spend their day mostly eating bamboo.
They have big round spots around their eyes.
An adult panda weighs more than 45 kilos (100 pounds).
Pandas on average poo 40 times.
Pandas have a strict diet of eating
bamboo but occasionally they do
eat something other than bamboo. They
eat eggs, small animals, carrion and
forage in farmland for pumpkin, kidney
beans, wheat and domestic pig food.
Cubs are well protected in their first
month of being born. Mother pandas keep
contact with their cub nearly 100℅ of the time in their
first month with the cub resting on her front
and remains covered by her paw arm or head.
Unfortunately there are only 1,864 wild pandas left in the world.
it may be sad but true that such beautiful species are nearly extinct.
