In year 6 we have been learning about Greek mythical creatures and Greek stories. We have been focusing on Theseus and the Minotaur.

This is a story about a prince called Theseus who goes into a revolting maze called the Labyrinth and try to fight the grotesque Minotaur with a little help by Princess Ariadne who gives him a ball of string and a thorny sword. Theseus succeeds and sails away with Ariadne however Theseus leaves the poor princess in a small island while he sails back to his home. The Gods get really angry with Theseus therefore they punish him by making him forget to change the sails of the boat. This then makes Theseus' dad jump of a high cliff.

We made a story but we changed the monster into our own imagination. From dragons to Pegasus all our creatures were OUTSTANDING!
