Hello nation! Or hi world! If you are doing anything interesting this weekend, have fun with it. Enjoy the film at the cinema, the wind with the kite flying or the cake at the birthday party. But have you ever thought to yourself that you have been so bored? You have finished your homework, you know it is bad to go on your electronics all the time and there is nothing to do? Your worries are over. I know a few of the following might sound a bit boring, but trust me - they will pay off in the end.

1. Tidy your bedroom. This sounds like the worst chore ever, but when you are super tired and walk into your bedroom, it is more calming to have a tidy room. If you want to go to bed and there is stuff strewn all over it, it is very annoying. So in the end, you will appreciate your work.

2. Try doing some chores around the house. It stops your parents from nagging you to do it, for one thing, and can also boost your pocket money. And, as stated above, you feel calmer when everything around you is tidy.

3. If the above are done or you do not want to do them, you could go out for a walk or a cycle- just to stay fit. You could play football in the park, basketball in a court or hockey on the local field.

4. You could meet up with some friends and do something together. You could go: shopping, bowling, to a cinema or for something to eat. You can stay entertained. Or, if your friends have plans, you could do those things by yourself.

These are good ways to keep yourself content when boredom seems to surround you. Enjoy the half term break!
