book review: Boy underwater

Boy underwater is an amazing, heart-warming story written by Adam Baron. The book is about a nine year old boy called Cymbeline Igloo. Cymbeline has never been swimming and when his teacher, Miss Phillips, tells the class that they are starting swimming at school, Cymbeline is very worried...

How hard could swimming actually be? Cymbeline looked up front crawl and found his dead dad's old trunks. He thinks that he's totally ready for lessons. Is he though?

After an incident at the pool and his mum disappearing, Cymbeline has to work with his friends, Veronique and Billy, to find his mum and the truth.

Boy underwater is a great book for not only children but adults (my mum enjoyed it too). It shows that to find the truth, sometimes you have to go deep. If you cannot find a book you like, this book should hopefully be good to read. At some points the book might make a few tears appear, but it will almost definitely make you laugh.
