The New Lamborghini SVJ

Lamborghini has unveiled an open-top roadster version of the strong Aventador SVJ at the Geneva show, which is a motoring show, featuring the same 759 brake horsepower V12 engine as its coupé sister.

Only 800 cars of the new Aventador SVJ Roadster two-seater will be produced. Lamborghini boss Stefano Domenicali said it would be “as fundamentally exciting to drive as the Aventador SVJ but with an added exclusivity: the option of the open air”.

It is fitted with a removable carbon fibre roof that is detached by quick-release levers in the cabin. The V12 engine, the most powerful in Lamborghini history, has an unchanged output of 531lb ft of torque, which means very powerful(!!!), driving all four wheels. Lamborghini says the car’s performance and stiffness are unaffected by whether the roof is up or not. I personally think it’s an amazing, fast and stylish car but will its rival Ferrari prove to be a better car with their new F8 Tributo?
