The incendiary explosives plummet into combustion first, illuminating the darkened city for a millisecond before exploding into a great plume of smoke and debris, engulfing the skies with death black smog, smudging the moon into oblivion.

Sirens scream with petrifying affect, obliterating the minds of the horrified citizens. Embers withering holes in the souls of the innocent.

Death is strewn across the destroyed streets, crumbling what is left of the suffering people.

Doom is pungent in the biting air. Dawn will break before light is seen in this never ending war.
