Earth, Sun and Moon

The Earth is a round sphere, that is made from rocks, sand and dust as well as all the other planets. The Earth orbits the sun. Also most of the Earth is covered with water. The Earth has more gravity than the moon! The Earth is always spinning so the distance of time changes because when the Earth turns around the Sun, so it's day time on the other side of the world but for England it would be night time.

The closest planet near the Sun out of the whole nine planets is Mercury. Here is a list of the closest to the furthest. near the Sun:

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Dwarf Planet.. A way of remembering is My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nine Drinks! Did you know that the Sun is a big star made from fire?

The first person to go to the moon was Neil Armstrong. The Moon orbits the Earth
