Heston Blumenthal is an honorary fellow of the Royal Society of chemistry and in addition to that honour, Heston has also received honorary degrees [including a Doctorate in sience] from Reading, Bristol and London universities for his work in science and gastronamy.He's published two scientific papers one about the differences in glutamic acid and 5'-ribonucleotide contents between flesh and pulp of tomatoes.
