Stig of he dump

Stig of the dump by Clive King is a mysterious tail of a young boy who go's to his grandmas to stay for Christmas with his sister Lou. He is told not to go into the chalk pit but as you can imagine is impossible to resit the urge. When Barney finally go's down meets a strange Stone Age boy who soon becomes Barneys best friends. Stig is always very curious and is very creative. Barney and Stig go on lots of adventures including hunting and stoping a burglar but strange things happen at midnight on the longest day of the year. They find more cavemen when the the modern world seemed to disappear before them. No houses no churches just grassland. I urge anyone in the age group of 8-11 to read this wonderful page turner.
