Back like Before

We’re now back to how we were in December.

Online learning something to remember.

A moment in history,

That will stay with us forever.

Sanitising hands,

Keeping two meters distance.

Covid found a way,

A way to invade.

Now we’re on the Google Meet,

Online at 8.30

Debating who will win the match,

Between Belgium and Italy.

A day without an “Outrageous”,

Or Philip doing something new.

I feel like I’m on the cay stranded,

I’ve got nothing else to do.

Let’s look at the positives for now.

And forget the deja vu.

I can spend more time with my mum,

And never ask to go to the loo.

Now I’ve closed my laptop,

And submitted the Google Doc.

I’m looking forward for the 12th July,

Counting the hours away on the clock.
