A week of books

Last week was book week- a week where we as a school focused in one book to learn about. Also during book week, we had an author visit-which I will tell you more about later.

The book we were focusing on was called 'Look Back', by Trish Cooke. As we were reading the same book as the infants, it wasn't the most exiting/heart beating read. Honestly, the last pages illustration in a smile face. A reception child smiley face. Literally.

The visit from Matt Brown was really funny and informative. I especially found it funny when he accidently on purpose showed us all the amazing things celebrities and readers had said about his book.

My favourite thing about book week was the dress up day because it was fun and everyone else had amazing costumes- like Lily the Blueberry.
