A new change by Pasupathi Sivaruban

Where was mum? Dad said she was away at work for a fortnight and it’s been a whole month! I’m getting a bit suspicious, something’s going on, dad doesn’t like changes but he’s been lately in a good mood he’s been whistling, doesn’t tell us off or ban anything when we’re bad . My brothers are acting normal so I guess, it’s just a change. I called mum but she didn’t pick up, then I called the hospital but they didn’t pick up either. Just then the door opened, my brothers next to me, they froze with nothing to say...  but I screamed.  We have a baby sister!
