City Girls Cricket Finals

2 teams of girl cricketers represented Sandfield at this years City Finals held at Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth 1 College, Leicester.

The teams were put into 2 groups playing for the East Leicester title and both played 4 group matches.

A Team results: v Uplands Won 250 - 201

v Spinney Hill Won 265 - 214

v Northfield House Won 285 - 199

v Mayflower Won 241 -191

The team played Merrydale in the final and Won 260 - 221

They now go onto to represent East Leicester at the Summer Games to be held at the end of June at Uppingham School.

The B Team results: v Abbey Won 211 - 206

v Hope Hamilton Lost 228 - 249 B Team

v Sparkenhoe Lost 241 - 249

v Merrydale Lost 211 - 227

The team played Uplands for 7th/8th place and Won 221 - 207 achieving 7th place
