Science Week

Most of Year 6 completed a Science Project on the topic Journeys. We had a variety of questions:

- What is the life cycle of a wild horse?

- Why does a bird migrate from its nest?

- What forces does a skydiver journey through?

- How far does light travel?

- What is the journey of a blood cell?

- How does food digest?

- What happens when you eat your favourite food?

- Which way does the floe of electricity go?

- Why do the planets orbit the sun?

- What is evolution?

- How do you get to Mars?

- What's the journey of a red panda's life?

- What is the life cycle of a salmon?

- What are the stages of the water cycle?

- How long does it take to get to the moon?

- When does sound travel faster?

In our class, we looked at the journeys of lunar rovers (a space-exploration vehicles designed to move across the moon). We then created designed our own lunar rover and carefully considered what it needed.
