Tossing and turning on the sacks of fresh-oranges, Naledi slept like a baby in a cot.

"Wake up Naledi!" Tiro whispered as he vigorously shook his (older) sister.

"It''s daybreak and the farmers are going to enter the shed!" Tiro was starting to panic.

As soon as Naledi heard this, she was like a slingshot, bouncing out of her `bed`.

"Alright Tiro! Lets get moving!" She replied whilst clasping her little brothers' hand, dashing out of the wooden shed.

Reluctantly, Tiro ( who was very aware of his surroundings) was crawling under the electrical fence that should've shocked him. On the other side of the fence stood Naledi, impatiently waiting for Tiro as he edged closer.

"Hurry up you fool! Do you want to be caught?" She said, almost bursting a vain inside.

"Forget this!" Naledi reached and got hold of Tiro's shirt, prising him out of the fence.

The two siblings marched onward into the unknown.

An unspecified amount of time later, a white and tinted lorry (about the size of two bouncy castles) halted by the two adventurers.

"Well well, are those two lost children I see?" said the lorry driver.

"Indeed Rra, we're in need of some assistance, to travel to Jo'burg," replied Naledi.

"First of all, the question was rhetorical and secondly, I can help you with your journey. Hop in the back of my lorry." instructed Rra -as the sun reflected off his radical shades that he bought at a junkyard-.

Naledi walked and opened the trunk, she sat and gestured to Tiro to enter.

"It seems pretty shady Nale-"

"Did I stutter?" Naledis' voice sent a shiver down her brothers back, intimidating him.

Right after that, Tiro, frightened by his sisters monotone voice, hopped in the trunk and shut it closed.

The lorry zoomed through the `desert`.

The younger brother of Naledi was sticking out his head for some fresh air, it was cold and it felt nice on his face.

At first it didn't seem harmful but then, he lent out a tad too far.

"You're going to fall off you imbecilic child!" Naledi warned but it was a hypocritical statement as she was a child too.

"No i'm n-" Tiro almost fell out since the lorry had a hit a bump that was unexpected.

"Gotcha!" Naledi's hand grasped her little brothers tattered blue v-neck t-shirt

"What did I tell you huh?"

"Please don't remind me big sis.." He settled in between a few orange-bags.

Naledi sighed and got the Parktown code ( address) from her pocket.

Alot of feelings and thoughts filled her mind.

Her favourite part was pondering about going to school in Jo'burg, what a delight it would be!

What Naledi didn't know was that it was illegal for her to go to school, for she was part of the black race...
