Microsocieties 2

This week in Microsocieties we continued the story of Justenuf, now known as Notenuf. They installed a new system of seeds,so everyone has the same amount of crops for the new year, and everyone an equal peice of land. Until then, they would have to comprimise who got which flavor of nutri-bags.

They shared them out as fairly as they could, but the Captain still saw the nation trading seeds for nutri-bags,as if it were their currency.

Then we did an activity loosely based on the currency predicement. The teachers gave us cards with words on them, and we would have to say whether we would want to use the items as currency or not. There were things writen on those pieces of paper such as shells, gold,a cow, diamonds and coins. We didn't want to use a lot of them,as you can probably tell, but a few were okay.

We also made up a name for our currency. My table came up with Starzoes but the class setteled on Dox. It seems to me that my class just likes random names.

Then everyone made their own versions of Dox notes, and voted on which one was the best. Mine didn't win but Iliked the note my class chose,so it was okay.

I can't wait for next week though, when we actually use the money!
