In 1887 Matisse finishes school and gets a job in a law office.

In 1891 Matisse returns to Paris to study at the

"Académie Julian".

In 1894 Henri has a daughter with Caroline Joblau.

1896 Henri exhibits 5 paintings

1952 Henri donated money to his home town

1954 Matisse dies of a heart attack at the age of 84.
