For the challenge we ask that on your way home from school or another location that you look at the materials different homes are made from. Please look carefully and talk about this with your child. See how many you can list! Please send us your lists of building materials via the blog.

On Monday we will be sharing the story of St George, using props to role play as well as making England flags using a wide range of media. We will be talking a lot about bravery.

We will be mixing paint to find out which primary colours we need to paint a brick, which we will use to make a wall. In cooking we will be baking chocolate concrete, which will be edible! We will also be watching a clip from Grand Designs to have a close look at the ways materials are used to build a home.

Please check your child’s wallet for their Summer Term targets and begin to work on them with your child.
